Harvard Kennedy School Honors Mayor Cory Booker

Cambridge, MA — November 13, 2008 — On Monday, November 24, the Institute of Politics at Harvard Kennedy School and the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation will honor Mayor Cory A. Booker with the John F. Kennedy New Frontier Award for his exceptional public service in the city of Newark.
 
The John F. Kennedy New Frontier Award is presented annually to extraordinary young Americans under the age of 40 who are transforming their communities and country through their dedication to public service.  The recipients of the award exemplify the qualities that President Kennedy admired: civic mindedness, vision, and pragmatism in their pursuit of their public service responsibilities.
 
The award will be presented at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, November 24 at Harvard Kennedy School, 79 JFK Street, Cambridge, Massachusetts and all are welcome to attend this special honor for Mayor Booker.
